- Perform routine maintenance checks, inspections, and servicing of lift systems according to maintenance schedules and manufacturer guidelines.
- Diagnose faults, troubleshoot issues, and conduct repairs on lift components, including motors, controllers, door mechanisms, and safety devices.
- Respond promptly to service calls, emergencies, and breakdowns to minimize downtime and disruption to lift operations.
- Complete service reports, maintenance logs, and documentation accurately and in a timely manner.
- Communicate effectively with clients, building owners, and other stakeholders to provide updates on service activities and address any concerns.
- Keep abreast of industry trends, technological advancements, and regulatory changes in lift engineering.
- Diploma or degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Lift Service Engineer or similar role in the lift and elevator industry.
- Strong knowledge of lift systems, components, and safety standards.
- Hands-on experience in diagnosing and repairing electrical and mechanical faults.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
