    Description
    We have a vacancy for a Security Officer to join our team.

    You will be responsible for protecting the security and safety of the identified buildings and personnel at a busy client site.

    You will be working on a 4-day-on-4-day-off shift pattern between 06:00 to 23:00, 42 hours per week on a permanent, full-time basis.

    The different shift hours are as follows: 06:00 - 18:00, 08:00 - 21:00, 10:00 - 23:00 and 11:00 - 23:00

    Start shift promptly at time designated, in full uniform.
    Full knowledge of RSC Safeguarding Policy
    Responsible for active communication of handover of shift to on shift supervisor.
    Procedures carried out must be in line with the Health and Safety Policy
    Responsible for full comprehensive understanding of fire alarm procedures
    Responsible for full comprehensive understanding of the RSC Fire Policy with significant emphasis to proactive and reactive fire safety measures
    includes knowledge of the RSC major Incident Plan, with considerations to unoccupied, open and during performance modes in all relevant buildings and auditoria
    At all times operate a flexible patrolling strategy with utmost vigilance

    Awareness of responsibilities and powers as a member of the security team and when to hand over to Police instruction.

    Supporting all performances as a performance Fire Officer
    SIA licence is essential (CCTV & Door Supervisor)
    Full UK driving licence is essential
    Experience of working and building partnerships with clients
    Organised individual who can demonstrate a record of planning and managing work flows
    Able to demonstrate an understanding of high quality service delivery and their impact on this
    The ability to be agile and flexible to meet the needs and demands of the role
