You will be on-call once or twice monthly for home births. A shift pattern including night and weekend working is in place at the birthing centre; this attracts a pay supplement.
You will probably already be working as a Band 6 midwife and looking to broaden your skills and experience. You will be comfortable working autonomously, as part of a well-supported team. As the role offers the opportunity for clinical rotation into all areas of our maternity service, you will be looking to maintain and develop your wider clinical skills.
