To support during a period of transition and growth, we are looking for an
Interim HR Coordinator who will be at the forefront of HR operations at our
Hebburn headquarters


Responsibilities

  • Provide support regarding all HR queries, including sickness absence, disciplinary, grievance, policy and procedures, recruitment and learning and development.
  • Maintain and update the HRIS system to ensure accurate employee data.
  • Maintain personnel records and manage HR documentation in accordance with compliance with employment laws and regulations.
  • Provide support in processing monthly payroll.
  • Support with the entire employee lifecycle, from onboarding to exit interviews.
  • Work closely with managers to manage and track employee probation periods.
  • Proactively manage the flow of information in and out of the HR mailbox.
  • Support with the coordination of Occupational Health absence management referrals and maintaining sickness absence records.
  • Assist with policy development and updating of Employee Handbook.
  • Assist in the performance appraisal process and ensure timely evaluations.
  • Assist in the recruitment process by posting job openings, reviewing CVs and scheduling interviews.

- Prepare onboarding materials and conduct reference checks for all new starters.


Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:


  • Essential_
  • Full UK Driving Licence.
  • Proven track record gained from working within a fastpaced HR department.
  • Strong organisational skills, personal efficiency, time management skills.
  • Able to be flexible, adaptable and prioritise demands.
  • A knowledge of the fundamentals of people management and employment law.
  • Deliver effective HR operational administration throughout the full employee lifecycle.
  • Highly competent in using business software such as an HR Information System as well as Microsoft Office.
  • Preferred_
  • CIPD L3 or relevant experience.

£27,000.00-£30,000.00 per year
