- Degree / Diploma in Podiatry
- HCPC Registration
- Ability to communicate complex and sensitive information in a manner that patients, carers and other staff can understand, including imparting often difficult clinical and non-clinical news.
- High level of problem solving, planning and time management skills.
- Experienced in diabetes
- Experience of managing complex caseloads independently / or within a team.
- Substantial clinical experience within the field of Podiatry.
- Proven organisational skills to produce outcome measures and other quality data including audit.
- Experience within a supervisory / team leader role.
- Knowledge/understanding of confidentiality issues
- Understanding of current objectives within the field of Podiatry (including surgical management), focusing on national and local strategy, policies, and guidelines.

The service has direct links to Podiatric surgery for Complex Foot and Ankle Surgery. We are looking for motivated individuals with good interpersonal skills who enjoys working with the public and a range of clinical and non-clinical colleagues to join Bank team. Ideally the applicant should have an interest and some experience in Diabetes and MSK. The applicant should have a flexible approach to work and be keen to progress their clinical skills. Main duties of the job Support the Extended Scope MSK / Diabetes Podiatrists in musculoskeletal/ Diabetic aspect of care within the Department of Podiatric Medicine and Surgery and play a key role in ensuring theservice meets expected results with reference to national and local policies. The post holder must be able to demonstrate a increased knowledge base within the chosen field and act as a role model for providing quality care to patients and an expert training resource to AHP's, GP's and other health and social care colleagues.
