Greater Manchester:
The department provides services in partnership the local authority, voluntary organisations and other agencies that provide health and social care to meet the sexual and reproductive health needs of our local communities.
Provide consultations for patients attending the clinic for the diagnosis and management of sexually transmitted infections and related conditions.
Provide consultations for patients attending the clinic for management of contraception needs and related care.Participate in the clinical research conducted within the department.
The clinic population offers a wealth of clinical material and the post holder will be encouraged to develop his/her own research interests.
Utilise professional skills in all relevant areas of sexual health and reproductive health in the provision of care for patients accessing the service.
Provide patients with information and support to make informed choices about their relationships and sexual health.Be aware of adult and children safeguarding issues and comply with the service and Trust guidelines and policies.

Basic medical qualifications
Diploma in Genitourinary Medicine
A minimum of 2 years post registration experience in the NHS or UK healthcare system
Current experience providing contraception and sexual health care
O& G / General Practice
Demonstrate an understanding of Evidence Based Medicine
