The School and Role

A specialist school in Trafford are looking for an English Teacher dedicated to making a positive impact on the education and social skills of children with social, emotional and mental health needs.

The SEMH Teacher role will involve implementing the National Curriculum at Key Stage 3 and 4 and responding to the pastoral needs of the pupils in a caring and empathetic manner.

The desired English Teacher will:

Possess the desire to develop and deliver an adapted curriculum suited to excluded pupils and those at risk of exclusion.

Understand the communication skills required to teach children with barriers to learning and who may be disengaged with education.
Demonstrate an ongoing commitment to inclusive education practices and ensuring equal opportunities for all students regardless of their background.
