A great new instruction with a key manufacturing client in the area for a Planning Administration Assistant.


The role is initially presented on a fixed term contract basis until October 2023 (maternity) but the client has suggested that once you have a foot in the door, other roles within the business may become available, so the longer term prospects are positive.


This position is considered ideal for someone with strong administrative skills who wants to learn and start a career within planning in a fast paced manufacturing setting.

Some planning experience would be considered helpful ,but you will also need to be IT savvy have strong administrative skills where accuracy and attention to detail is paramount, plus team player is a must.


Any experience of managing and liaising with suppliers could be helpful as would any experience of working in a commercial or supply planning related role.

The Role & Regular Duties:

This position will focus on the administrative support for various brands within the Planning Department and requires a flexible proactive approach together with the ability to deal with often ambiguous information, often on multiple items, which can frequently change

The Planning Admin Assistant will support the Supply Planner to ensure daily and monthly tasks are completed on time.

You will undertake purchase orders and supplier management

Assist with manual forecast changes on their SAP IT system

Request movement of stock between plants where applicable

Assist Supply Planning to ensure daily, weekly and monthly takes are managed

Communicate with internal and external stakeholders
