Team Leader - Stoke on Trent

Monday - Friday; 37.5 hours per week
Davies Group are currently looking for a Team Leader to support our Specialist claims team within our Stoke office.

Becoming a Team Leader means that you'll play a key part in managing a team dedicated to the management of Specialist claims for numerous clients.

So, you'll ideally need to come to us with a strong claims background, and the appetite to lead a team in a fast-paced and continually evolving environment.

Duties and responsibilities:

Ownership and oversight of the claims handling team, including management of team workload
Development of claims handers to achieve client SLAs via support and coaching
Ensure a high level of staff engagement
Attend Client Review Meetings where appropriate
Conducting regular performance and audit reviews, include annual PDR's
Managing claims handler absences
Continuous improvement focus leading excellent customer service and technical delivery of claims
Complaint escalation point
Ensure Key Performance Indicator targets are reached and maintained
Manage client communications and perform weekly reporting elements

Key skills required:

Proven experience within a similar role leading a team, ideally within a call centre/customer focused environment
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
The ability to lead and motivate a team to achieve performance targets
A proactive attitude and an enthusiastic approach
