Description
QT Education is keen to recruit a science teacher for a co-educational, non-denominational secondary school in Bridgwater, Somerset. The school is housed in a wonderful building completed in 2012 and boasts fantastic facilities. The successful candidate will be enthusiastic and be actively involved in continuing to develop History within the school throughout the age and ability range including GCSE classesOutstanding teaching skills, with a clear awareness of current issues and the ability to inspire the highest achieving students
Ability to form excellent relationships with pupils, parents and colleagues
Experience, Qualifications and Training:
We seek a qualified and enthusiastic teacher of History
Must have QTS, QTLS, PGCE or equivalent
Previous teaching experience required – suitable for ECT's or experienced teachers
Up to date Safeguarding training issued in the last year (desirable however not essential)
An inspirational, creative and self-motivated practitioner with a passion for teaching and learning.
Committed to their own professional development journey.
Skilled in planning and delivering exciting and engaging lessons.
Eligibility to work in a teaching role:
Provide two professional child related references that cover the last two years
Enhanced DBS certificate which is either on the online 'Update Service' or be willing to apply for a new DBS certificate
Suitability to work with children and young people will form part of the selection process. As part of the shortlisting process an online search will be carried out.
It is an offence to apply for a role if the applicant is barred from engaging in regulated activity relevant to children.
