What's the purpose of this role?
The Legal Assistant role is integral to the delivery of Stowe's Client Value Proposition.

The client experience is at the heart of every process and procedure and has been carefully designed with the clients' needs in mind.

What will I likely be doing?

  • Managing client's No Fault Divorce matters
  • Accurately taking down key information and entering it onto a case management system
  • Proactively communicating with the client and managing the relationship and their expectations
  • Working closely with the Legal Teams on linked Finance matters
  • General administration in relation to file management & archiving as required
  • Proclaim diary management (e.g., ensuring all key dates are input into the system)
  • Supporting the Client Service Team by dealing with New Business Enquiries, and establishing the client's needs using your knowledge of family law to assess how we can help
  • Reassuring the client and dealing with their requests professionally and sensitively
  • If suitable, transferring the call to a lawyer or converting the client to an appointment with a Family lawyer

What skills might I have to be suitable for this position?

  • Demonstrates a strong understanding of technical family law processes

  • Demonstrates exceptional client care with the ability to sensitively deal with emotional or upset clients
  • Able to solve problems and take initiative
  • Be adaptable, Independent, and positive towards change
  • Have strong time management skills to ensure all cases and enquiries are managed in a timely manner

Requirements:


Hours and salary;**- Part-time - 3 days per week

  • Wednesday: , Thursday , Friday
  • Home and Harrogate officebased working (you control how that looks)
- £25,000 Full-time equivalent
