Are you an experienced Pharmacist Manager keen to take the next step in your career in the heart of the community?


Our client is a leading independent pharmacy chain in the North of England, and currently has a vacancy for a GPhC registered Pharmacist Manager to join their busy 100-hour branch in Chorley (PR7).

This is a fantastic full time, permanent position with flexible shift options available (earlies or lates) depending on requirements.


Essential Requirements

  • GPhC accredited and registered Pharmacist.
  • Master's degree in Pharmacy (MPharm).
  • Ideally some experience of managing a community pharmacy.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Willingness and enthusiasm to get involved and provide a handson approach to running the pharmacy effectively.
  • Ability to work with others in a multidisciplinary team and lead a team.

Role Responsibilities

  • Responsible for managing a team to provide clinical integrity through the adherence to company procedures, relevant legislation, and codes of ethics.
  • Be responsible for running the pharmacy effectively, including answering the phone, serving customers etc.
  • Ensure that efficiency and high levels of patient service are maintained at all times.
  • Demonstrate a good knowledge of the pharmaceutical and healthcare industries.
  • Foster good working relationships with other healthcare professionals.
  • Be able to drive performance in line with business objectives and will develop the team and service offering to meet and exceed expectations.

Salary & Package

  • Up to £28.00 per hour DOE.
  • Sign on bonus.
  • Full training provided and paid for.
  • Performance related bonus.
  • 5 weeks holiday per annum plus bank holidays.
