We're seeking a driven and passionate individual who is interested in developing their career as a
Finance Business Partner, supporting the Infrastructure Development and Delivery area of NGET which is responsible for delivering major new infrastructure investment that plays a key role in enabling the UK's transition to Net Zero energy.


You'll be joining a team which works hand in hand with the Directors of the National Grid Electricity Transmission business, to ensure leaders understand their financial performance in the context of the regulatory framework and the commitments we have made to our shareholders.

We are accountable for ensuring the business's plans are ambitious and deliverable.

We support the business to find opportunities to embed efficiencies that drive value for shareholders and consumers, and we provide insight and challenge where we see risks to performance.

Critical to success will be a high-quality forecast that finds innovative ways to report and manage material uncertainty and risk across a complex investment portfolio.


About You:

You're a Qualified Accountant - ACA, ACCA, CIMA, who has experience working with large capital investment projects.

You're comfortable balancing support for the business to help it to focus on what really matters for financial performance, with having challenging conversations when you see the need for decision and action to deliver that performance.

You're commercially minded and have strong stakeholder management, allowing you to build trusted working relationships.

You're looking for a role that will really make a difference, in a business that plays a key role in enabling the UK's transition to Net Zero energy.


What You'll Get:

£60,000 - £70,000 per annum - dependent on experience.
