Job Description
- Skilled in company cornerstone systems to manage project costs effectively.
- Proficient in financial terminology and capable of assessing financial impacts on projects.
- Analyze financial data to identify critical project issues.
- Support junior staff in task assignments.
- Utilize drawings and specifications to establish project baseline data.
- Knowledgeable of accounting principles and company financial documentation practices.
- Create revised cost forecasts and analyze progress trends.
- Monitor earned value and assess cost impacts.
- Evaluate labor requirements and costs versus budget limitations.
- Review and approve contractor invoices.
- Track project expenditures and subcontractor funding alignment.
- Understand project budgeting and scope control.
- Assist in cost/schedule baseline budgeting.
- Familiar with cost/schedule integration and critical path analysis.
- Conduct performance measurements and cost trending.
- Prepare project reports and lead cost review meetings.
- Assist in procedure development and implementation.
Qualifications
- Experience with Design Programmes and RIBA Stages.
- Proven experience as a Project Planner in Construction or Consultancy.
- Membership in professional institutions.
- Familiarity with CPI and SPI metrics for Design contracts.
