    Description
    Physics Teacher / Physics ECT + TLR | September 2024 Start | Tower Hamlets


    A fantastic Secondary School, situated within the centre of the Borough of Tower Hamlets, are seeking a Physics Teacher / Physics ECT to start full-time on a permanent basis in September 2024.


    The Headteacher is looking for an inspiring and committed Physics Teacher / Physics ECT to join their focused and supportive Physics Department.

    Throughout the school, the importance of reading and literacy is highlighted and the school are keen to hire a Physics Teacher / Physics ECT sharing this same passion.


    This Secondary School was judged as 'Good' by Ofsted - the Sixth Form and the behaviour and attitudes of the students were found to be 'Outstanding'.

    In 2023, the school placed in the top 10% of schools in England in relation to the provisional results achieved by Key Stage 4 pupils, and the majority of students every year go on to attend university.


    Within the Physics Teacher / Physics ECT role, there are various opportunities for TLR for experienced teachers and eager ECTs, depending on experience, including Key Stage Co-ordinator, Lead Practitioner and more.

    JOB DESCRIPTION
    Physics Teacher / Physics ECT
    Based in the Borough of Tower Hamlets
    Working throughout the various Key Stages (KS3/KS4/KS5) alongside a fantastic team of Physics Teachers / Physics ECTs and Support Staff
    Delivering exciting and innovative lessons that cater to the relevant age group
    September 2024 start - Permanent, Full-Time position

    Additional TLRs available:
    Key Stage Co-ordinator, Lead Practitioner and more
    MPS- UPS3 - £36,745 - £53,959 + TLRs (Amount dependent on experience)PERSON SPECIFICATION

    Must hold UK QTS
    An individual with the ability to collaborate with an ambitious group of Physics Teachers
    Strong academics (GCSEs, A-Levels and Degree)
    A motivated Teacher that is able to listen to and take feedbackSCHOOL DETAILS
