More about the role

The
Food and Generated Gases Maintenance Technical Coordinator is part of our
Customer Engineering Maintenance team which is responsible for all equipment installed on our customer sites.

The role reports to the Maintenance Technical Coordinator Supervisor.

The
Maintenance Technical Coordinator reviews work orders and assesses how the job will be carried out, assigns appropriate labour, equipment, and materials.

In this role, the coordinator will speak directly with suppliers, contractors, as well as internal and external customers.

The team of technical coordinators deal with planned and breakdown maintenance on industrial gases equipment, such as tanks, food freezers, non-cryo nitrogen generators, hydrogen and medical oxygen panels installed at customers and CryoEase and packaged gas depots within the UK.

This role will focus on the food freezers/tunnels as well as the non-cryo nitrogen generators.

The most challenging part of the role is to proactively respond to a fault on a customer's system remotely from our in-house dashboards, updating the customer, then arranging a suitably trained technician to attend site without changing any legally required planned in work.

This can be in remote areas of the country where travel distances are long with a limited technician resource to draw upon.
