Job Description:


The Control Room Supervisor is accountable for managing control centre operations and maximising the production and availability opportunities whilst ensuring that Statkraft (SEL) operate in a safe and legally compliant manner.


  • Responsible for the daytoday operation of the Control Centre consisting of Control Room 1 and
  • Control Person duties as defined under the Statkraft Energy Ltd Safety Rules (Electrical & Mechanical):
  • Knowledge of Wind Turbine Safety Rules (WTSR) and Safe Systems of Work (SSoW)
  • Support and drive the development of the Control Centre.
  • Responsible for maintenance within the Control Room Area
  • From time to time due to staff shortage, take over CRO responsibilities.
  • Reporting internal and external.
  • Manage Lone Working
  • Analytical and technical skills with strong numeracy, literacy, and data skills.
  • Complete Daily Weekly and Monthly reports on time.
  • Ensure Training and competence are up to date for all Control Centre Operators.
  • Support the Control Centre Manager and deputies as and when required.

Qualifications:


  • Technical qualification
  • Experience within a control room environment.
  • Experience of shift work.
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Excellent organisational skills including the ability to work as part of a team and individually.
  • An effective communicator.
  • Have confidence to make decisions.
  • Business and commercial awareness.
  • Inspired by Renewable Energy
  • Experience in Management / Leadership would be of advantage
  • Driving License
