    Job Title: Registered Mental Health Nurse

    Location: Bangor, North Wales

    Job Type: Ad Hoc

    Salary: up to £43 per hour

    Overview:

    We are currently seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Mental Health Nurses to join our team to work in Bangor, North Wales. As a Registered Mental Health Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to individuals with mental health conditions. This is an excellent opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of those in need.

    Responsibilities:

    Assess and evaluate the mental health needs of patients, develop care plans, and implement appropriate interventions.

    Administer medications and monitor their effectiveness, ensuring adherence to prescribed treatments.

    Provide therapeutic interventions and support to individuals and their families, promoting recovery and well-being.

    Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement comprehensive care plans.

    Monitor and evaluate the progress of patients, adjusting care plans as necessary.

    Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes.

    Ensure compliance with relevant policies, procedures, and legal requirements.

    Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding mental health conditions and treatment options.

    Participate in training and professional development activities to enhance knowledge and skills.

    Requirements:

    Registered Mental Health Nurse qualification and current registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC).

    Experience working as a Mental Health Nurse, preferably in an inpatient or community setting.

    Strong knowledge of mental health conditions, treatments, and interventions.

    Excellent assessment, communication, and interpersonal skills.

    Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.

    Compassionate and empathetic approach towards patients and their families.

    Ability to prioritise and manage workload effectively.

    Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends and nights, as required.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    Additional certifications or training in specific mental health specialties.

    Experience in crisis intervention and risk assessment.

    Knowledge of relevant legislation and policies related to mental health.
