- Develop comprehensive lifting plans and method statements in line with BS 7121 standards.
- Collaborate with project managers, site supervisors, and crane operators for seamless execution of lifting operations.
- Offer guidance and support to the team, emphasizing adherence to health and safety regulations.
- Perform risk assessments and apply suitable control measures to minimize potential hazards.
- Engage with clients, contractors, and relevant authorities to secure necessary permits and approvals.
- Monitor equipment performance and maintenance schedules for optimal functionality.
- Lead incident investigations and enforce corrective actions to deter recurrence.
- Proven experience as a Senior Appointed Person or similar role in the crane hire sector.
- Demonstrate ability to create lift plans efficiently and swiftly.
- Thorough understanding of crane operations, rigging techniques, and lifting regulations.
- Proficient in developing lifting plans and method statements including AUTO CAD.
- Strong leadership qualities to efficiently manage and motivate a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Attention to detail and a focus on maintaining high safety standards.
- Hold relevant certifications such as CPCS or NPORS accreditation.
- Preferably possess a degree or diploma in engineering, construction, or a related field.
