Ashley Kate HR & Finance are pleased to be supporting our client in the Preston area as they recruit a 12 month fixed term contract to join their team to cover Maternity.

The role:

  • Be the first point of contact and manage incoming HR enquiries
  • Support the recruitment process to include advertising roles, liaising with managers, organising interviews and pre employment checks, reviewing JDs
  • Manage all HR correspondences to include on boarding process, contracts, terms, meetings and invitations
  • Administer staff benefits packs, and Maternity/Paternity
  • Monitoring, reporting and analysing key HR Metrics (salary benchmarking, absences, gender pay gap, staff turnover etc)


  • Absence management

  • Reporting and meetings
  • Supporting in ER Meetings
  • Ad-Hoc HR project work to support the wider team (EG, employee engagement and well being)

To be considered you will have the following:

  • GCSE Grade A-c maths and english
  • CIPD qualified or working towards (Desirable)
  • Experience advising managers on policies and process
  • Experience in supporting ER cases
  • Experience of using HR systems
  • Good excel and reporting skills
  • Strong administration and communication skills
  • Be a strong team player
