- Work as part of multidisciplinary teams providing care to children and young people with mental health needs, across Colchester and Clacton.
- Provide senior medical support and guidance to the team
- Work directly with young people and their families and liaise as appropriate with other external CAMHS mental health providers and acute hospitals
- Participate in the on-call rota frequency is currently 1:7, with a 2% of basic salary, Category B on-call supplement.
- Support your peers and team leader and be an effective team member whilst allowing them to work with their own initiative.
- Work alongside two part-time CAMHS Consultant Psychiatrists and a full-time Specialty Doctor.

We are currently recruiting to a CAMHS Consultant Psychiatrist position in the Colchester CAMHS Team, based at Globe House, 6 George Street, Colchester, Essex, CO1 1TP, and the Clacton CAMHS Team, based at 25 West Avenue, Clacton on Sea, Essex, CO15 1EU.
You will join two part-time CAMHS Consultant Psychiatrists and a Specialty Doctor within the service, and will have the opportunity to influence future direction, treatment, and models of design in the area in which you work.
