We are recruiting on behalf of our client, who is looking to recruit a
Domestic/Laundry Assistant to work within their team within an adult care home in the Coventry area.


An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service is required for this role.

Job Purpose:


  • To undertake the duties of cleaning residents' accommodation.
  • To launder residents' personal belongings.
  • To ensure residents' accommodation and the laundry area are kept in a clean and tidy condition.
  • To operation electrical equipment, such as carpet cleaners, washing machines, dryers and irons.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:


  • Responsible for cleaning all areas of the residents' accommodation, including furniture and fittings and inside windows.
  • Ensure residents' laundry and personal belongings are maintained to an acceptable level.
  • Be part of a team providing care and support to residents.
  • Participate in team meetings.
  • Have regard for the Health and Safety Regulations.
  • Provide a laundry service to domiciliary care clients in the community, as necessary.
  • Any other duties and responsibilities within the range of the salary grade.

Job Types:
Part-time, Temporary contract

Contract length: 1 month

Part-time hours: 22.5 per week


Salary:
£10.50 per hour


Schedule:
Monday to Friday
