Learning for Life and Work/Employment and Skills


This role involves leading on a specific curriculum area, which includes the delivery of the AEB statutory entitlements and assisting with developing the curriculum offer to meet Local priorities and Regional asks.

We strive to provide a provision that embeds a programme of progression and accredited qualifications recognised by employers and Government authorities.


Role purpose
To assist the programme manager for Learning and Skills to deliver the accredited programme areas.

Work with tutors and support staff providing direct coordination of workloads, support and guidance, dealing with training, welfare and performance issues as appropriate.

Lead all aspects of performance for the curriculum area within the context of continuous improvement. Ensure effective and efficient deployment of available resources aligned to the Quality Improvement Plan for the service. Support the operational management of all performance and quality improvement processes and procedures across the curriculum area.
