Trainee Lettings Consultant

Hackney, East London, E8

Basic salary up to £18,000 per annum, depending upon level of experience

PLUSuncapped commission scheme, OTE circa £35,000 per annum in year 1

Monday to Thursday, 8:45am to 6.00pm, Friday, 8:45am to 5:00pm, occasional Saturdays (on rota basis) 10:00am to 4:00pm

This is a great opportunity for a self-motivated and customer focused person to work at our highly successful and established Hackney branch as a Lettings Consultant, where we can help you become a highly successful lettings negotiator, under theguidance of an accomplished Director and supported by our Learning & Development program.

Requirements:


The main responsibility of a Lettings Consultant is to build a pipeline of completed lets, by understanding the needs and requirements of landlords, and qualifying tenants in order to match them to the right property and negotiating the terms.

You will be expected to;

  • Build relationships with clients to establish trust and rapport
  • Generate & conduct a targeted number of viewings for residential properties
  • Convert viewings to offers and then negotiate the lets of residential properties in sufficient quantity to meet agreed performance targets and to generate market appraisals
  • Negotiate offers to complete the deals
  • Maintain exceptional levels of customer service throughout the process & build long standing successful relationships
  • Proven working experience in any sales environment would be highly advantageous
  • A basic understanding of the residential lettings sector would be desirable
  • Ability to work independently combined with excellent interpersonal skills
  • Strong sales, negotiation and communication skills
  • Tenacious and resilient with a drive to succeed
  • Pleasant and trustworthy manner
  • MS Office familiarity, and IT literate
