We are excited to be looking for a
Community Cricket Ambassador to join the Lancasihre Cricket Foundation team.


Do you remember your favourite teacher, dance instructor, music tutor or sports coach? For so many of us, our lives were changed by these incredible people.

What was it that made them so great? The chances are they made their lessons fun, had a contagious passion and were great with people.

Cricket is changing and we need brilliant, energetic people like this to help us.


In partnership with the ECB and Sky, we have a bold plan to inspire thousands more children across the country to participate in our great game.

If you're someone who is passionate about inspiring kids in underserved communities to get active, and bringing communities together, then we want to hear from you.

You don't need any cricket experience - more important than this is an unshakable can-do attitude and an ability to form and nurture relationships to bring new people into the game.


We are in search of an individual whose role involves building connections with local stakeholders (such as Local Authorities, Schools, Leisure Centres, and Faith Groups) to offer Dynamos Cricket opportunities for the most deprived and disadvantaged children.

Additionally, individuals will be expected to assist in directly delivering sessions to these participants, no prior cricket delivery knowledge is necessary.

Key Responsibilities in this role will include

  • Delivering Dynamos Intros Cricket courses to children in local schools and communities.
  • Establishing and cultivating relationships with local community groups.
  • Assisting County Board staff in the recruitment and engagement of volunteers
  • Developing a local plan for the training and deployment of volunteers across the local area.
  • Overseeing the monitoring and evaluation of the project, providing monthly updates to the County Board, Sky, and the ECB.
  • Managing and monitoring the budget at the local level.
  • Provide administrative support to collect and publicise information on best practice / case studies / surveys and in generating the feedback from the relevant service user

Please note that although the primary focus of this role is on building relationships and managing stakeholders within local community groups, there is also an anticipated involvement in session delivery. No prior cricket knowledge is necessary, as training will be provided.

  • Proficiency in endtoend project management, including monitoring and evaluation
