We are looking for an experienced Technical Lead for our Consumer Core Team, focused on building scalable consumer facing web products.

In this role you will have the opportunity to direct the team, building and showcasing consumer content for Trustpilot - a well established brand that has millions of monthly visitors.

Be a mentor for our autonomous and cross-functional product team. We're looking for a professional technical sparring partner for our Senior Product Manager and Product Designer. This team will be a key driver for our consumer focused growth strategy.


This role comes with great responsibility and autonomy where you will facilitate strategic technical decisions, prototype and test hypotheses with the team and internal customers quickly, effectively launch and present consumer content and iterate to achieve product-market-fit.

In your role, you will:


  • Define the technical execution of building and presenting consumer content to provide a great experience to our customers
  • Work in a crossfunctional "full ownership" team alongside Product, Design and Data Science where you will take part in every step of the process of building consumer content from ideation and design to architecture, code, deployment and maintenance
  • Closely partner with product managers, designers and other engineers to deliver simple yet high impact designs and solutions
  • Focus on continuous optimizations/iterations using an methodical approach
  • Define and pursue the team's strategy, improvements & shape the future direction
  • Improve the technical quality of the team's work, through mentoring, process improvements, code reviews etc

We are looking for people with:

  • Extensive experience in development of scalable consumer facing web products
  • Some experience as a Tech lead
  • Experience with frontend technologies, specifically React and
  • Experience with Restful APIs, architecture and integrations
  • Experience with the AWS cloud ecosystem
  • Knowledge about SEO and accessibility
  • Experience of leading engineering best practices (CI/CD, configuration management, test automation, observability, release management).
  • Analytical and critical thinking skills and the ability to present your ideas clearly in both verbal and written form.
  • Motivation to deliver quality results in an agile, collaborative, everevolving environment.
  • Enthusiasm for learning as well as mentoring others.

A typical week for you will involve a planning meeting within your team, where you guide the current tasks at hand and align on what creates the most value towards our current goal.


You will also have regular 1-on-1s with your manager, where you will be able to work on your personal growth and development, by setting clear goals, receiving actionable feedback and discussing possible learning resources and opportunities.
