Organization Gas Services Business Unit Distributed Full / Part time Full-time Experience Level Early Professional A Snapshot of Your Day You will be joining a highly motivated team where you will be inter-machine Fitting to produce various Turbine products. Following work instructions and meeting company standards. HOW YOU'LL MAKE AN IMPACT - You will contribute to the production team with your skill, experience, and knowledge of mechanical fitting techniques to a high standard.- Uses Hand tools, Pneumatic Power Tools and Rotary deburring machines in a safe manner, to produce Turbine Blades and Vanes to meet quality and production requirements.- Understanding engineering drawings and fitting layouts.- Examines the quality of production output using first principal gauging to verify the product is acceptable to move onto the next part of the production process.- Maintains and updates digital production applications.- Regularly inspects tooling and machiery for mechanical and safety issues.- Works a flexible schedule to keep up with production demand during busy production periods.
WHAT YOU BRING - Must have an apprenticeship, level 3 NVQ in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent qualification.- Must have Mechanical/Bench Fitting experience.- Safety mindset, detail-orientated, problem-solving skills, mechanical talent.- Close attention to detail.- Strong problem-solving skills.- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well independently and in a team environment.- A proactive outlook to work and continuous improvement.- Pride in your work area, maintaining the cleanliness of the machine and its surrounding area.
