- Lead the implementation of integrated pathways for service users requiring treatment for addiction-related health needs.
- Ensure the effectiveness of the service's clinical model, aligning with CGL policy and national guidance.
- Develop and maintain immunisation and vaccination schemes to combat blood-borne viruses and other infectious diseases.
- Oversee staffing levels for all programmes to meet contractual requirements consistently.
- Foster a culture of continuous professional development within the nursing team.
- Work collaboratively with stakeholders to promote CGL clinical services to commissioners and health and wellbeing boards.
- Disseminate relevant information to the team from senior operational and clinical management.
- Contribute to clinical audits and ensure compliance with national guidance, CGL policies, and CQC Essential Standards.
- Registered with the NMC with a current PIN.
- Significant experience in health/social care or similar fields.
- Experience managing teams in clinical services and substance misuse.
- In-depth knowledge of clinical interventions, UK Drug Strategy, and social policy reforms.
- Familiarity with treatment models, harm minimisation interventions, and regulatory frameworks.
- Strong leadership and coaching abilities.
- Proficiency in implementing effective monitoring mechanisms and budget management.
- Excellent interpersonal and organisational skills.
- Ability to present complex information effectively.
- Commitment to professional integrity, confidentiality, and information governance.
