    Job Title: Hire Desk Manager at Manchester based Welfare Hire business

    Are you an experienced Hire Manager or a Hire Controller ready to take the next step into management?

    Then this great, newly created role as Hire Desk Manager for a Manchester based Welfare Hire business could be your next career opportunity.

    • The business has undergone a period of transformation, expanding their fleet, rebranding, and growing their team
    • Exciting plans for future success - bring on an ambitious Hire Desk Manager to support those plans, mentor the team, and make an impact on the success and direction of the hire desk
    • Be the first point of contact for customers, building strong relationships, understanding their hire needs, and ensuring we can meet them

    This is a challenging, fast-paced, and rewarding role, providing a fantastic platform to grow and progress your career within the Hire Industry.

    • Must have great people skills, a strong sales focus, and excellent customer service skills to adapt within a fast-paced environment
    • Responsible for the success of the Hire desk, ensuring customer enquiries are handled efficiently, quotes are followed up, sales opportunities are identified, and revenue is maximized

    What are we looking for?

    • Motivated and driven individuals with a 'can do' attitude
    • Experience within the hire industry - at management or supervisory level or as a Hire controller
    • Well-organized, ability to work under pressure, seek and identify sales opportunities, understand P&L, and make commercial decisions
    • Effective communicators with strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and proficient IT skills (MS Office)
    • Strong team player with the ability to work independently
