Tempting Recruitment are working on behalf of our client, a

local authority in

Tyneside to recruit an experienced

Catering Assistant, If you are looking to increase your earnings for the year,

Contract: - 6 months (Possible Extension)

Salary:
£11p/h (Umbrella)

Start Date:
ASAP

Shift Pattern: 36 hours / Full-time

DUTIES:

Setting up of the dining/café area including the cleaning of tables etc.
Transportation of meals between kitchen and the serving / dining area as necessary.
To assist with computer based activities commensurate with the post to include data entry / accessing the computer based food ordering system.
Undertake and maintain records of food storage temperatures.
Be able to work flexibly with regards to working hours and patterns of work on a rota basis to meet the demands of the service.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

Knowledge of catering equipment usage.
Relevant experience in catering.
Basic food hygiene certificate.
Ability to work as part of a team and/or on own initiative
Some experience of using IT packages such as Word, Excel and databases etc.
