Blakely Scott are proud to be working with a prestigious learning disabilities charity, looking for a Supported Living Service Manager to manager their service in The Forest of Dean.

This is an exciting role which would suit an experienced Service Manager, or potentially an experienced Deputy Manager looking to progress their career.

Reporting to the Registered Area Manager and working alongside another Service you will manage the dayto day running of the service.

Person specification for the successful Service Manager:

Experience supporting adults with Learning Disabilities, Autism, Challenging Behaviour and Positive Behaviour Plans
Passionate about delivering high quality levels of care, enabling people to live a more independent life
Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management (or willingness to work towards this)
Experience in managing a team of Support Workers
Excellent communication skills and IT skills

Key responsibilities for the Service Manager role:

Be a role model to your support staff, demonstrating excellent support to service users
Support and manage the team effectively
Responsible in the key day to day running of the supported living service
Alongside other Senior Managers you will be responsible for monitoring and maintaining the highest standards of support and care within the service
On call responsibilities (paid extra)

This role is based in the Supported Living Service in the Forest of Dean, Coleford, Gloucestershire so is commutable from locations such as Yorkley, Lydney, Chepstow, Monmouth, Ross-on-Wye, Cinderford, Gloucester and Cheltenham.
