    EMC Test and Validation Engineer
    Smart Household Safety Systems
    Coventry, Warwick, Kenilworth, Solihull
    £35,000 - £45,000 Basic Salary + Company Performance Bonus + Benefits
    A unique opportunity for an established electronics design engineer to join a vibrant and growing team.
    Leaders in designing and developing smart and IoT household safety systems.
    Large product portfolio across the UK and the wider European continentThe Company recruiting for the EMC Test and Validation Engineer:
    A market leader in home safety systems
    Renowned for their battery and mains powered devices.
    Growing and expanding in Coventry and further afield
    Seeking an electronics test and validation engineerThe Role of the EMC Test and Validation Engineer:
    Carry out test and validation of new and legacy products.
    Compile failure reports and update other engineering departments.
    Diagnose and fault find down to component level.
    When necessary, create test procedures to allow improved testing, development and validation processes.
    Support the wider team.
    Mon - Fri roleThe Candidate for the EMC Test and Validation Engineer:
    A formal electronics engineering qualification such as BTEC, HNC, HND, BSc, BEng, etc
    Understand schematics and able to diagnose failed electronic components and systems.
    Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC) testing knowledge
    Confident using specialist equipment such as multimeters, 0201 & 0402 soldering, oscilloscopes, signal generators, and analysers.
    Experience of Radio testing, LCM softwares, and critical products or low powered devices is desirable but not essential.
    Comfortable working in a team environment
    Strong English communication skills
    Able to commute daily to the Coventry siteThe Package for the EMC Test and Validation Engineer:
    £35,000 - £45,000 basic salary, depending on experience
    Company performance related bonus
