At PQS, we have a national presence but it's our local depots that are crucial for daily operations, customer service excellence, and efficient logistics.

Role Overview: The Workshop Operative/Relief Driver will work closely with the workshop technician at our busy Hull depot. Responsibilities include equipment maintenance, cleaning, stock management, and relief driving.

Duties include:

  • Liaising with workshop technician and depot manager for support
  • Maintaining cleanliness, organization, and safety standards
  • Completing safety checks and equipment maintenance
  • Managing workloads efficiently
  • Coordinating repair services
  • Attending training sessions

Driver (relief cover):

  • Loading and delivering equipment in a timely manner
  • Ensuring accuracy in deliveries and collections
  • Learning about products for effective handling
  • Driving company vehicles safely and professionally
  • Providing exceptional customer service

Requirements:

  • Team player
  • Strong communication skills
  • Computer literacy
  • Numeracy skills
  • Flexible and hard-working
  • Full clean driver's license

Hours: 7:30 am to 5:00 pm, Monday to Friday

Holidays: 25 days plus Bank Holidays
