Following recommendations and our commitment to the Better Births Programme, an exciting opportunity have arisen in community for a Continuity of Carer Midwife, to help drive forward the initiative.
Our community midwives promote normality and the use of alternative therapies for the benefit of all women. If you are looking for the opportunity to work innovatively, usinga continuity of carer model, utilizing and developing your midwifery skills within a successful community team then this may be the opportunity for you.
You must be flexible, having the ability to work across a large geographical area and to participate in our on-call rota and shiftsas required to support the hospital, homebirth and the midwifery led unit.
We would particularly welcome applications from people from a BME background and people with a disability as these groups are currently under-represented at senior level. We value diversity within our Trust and are working to achieve equality in our recruitment.
