Here at SWB we pride ourselves on the way we support and nurture our colleagues and how we value progression for all of our midwives. Our community midwives operate in small families, in line with best practice as advocated by Better Births, this means they give excellent care, whilst having room to grow.
Why not come and have an informal chat over a coffee with one of our team leaders, or one of our midwives to see if SWBH could be the change you are looking for. Please feel free to email us and arrange a Deputy Matron we would love to see you, there is no obligation.
We are also currently offering a financial incentive for midwives in Community Midwifery. A lump sum payment of £1,000 pro-rata is payable on completion of 12 months as a band 5/6 Community Midwife with a further £1,000 pro-rata payable at the end of year 2 and year 3 . Please see the attached flyer for qualifying criteria.
We pride ourselves on offering appropriate support for those who require additional care in the community. Every service user is treated as an individual and their values are our values.
