ABOUT THE JOB
At McCain, it's not just about what we make, but it's about how we make it that's important. We are looking for a Technical Operator (Palletising) to work as part of a team in the Packing Department, being responsible for the maintenance and operation of the palletising system to run - including pallet dispenser, banders, all roller tracks, all conveyors, and auto-palletisers

You will carry out visual checks of all lane counts and releasing sequences, pallet dispensing and stacking patterns, and be responsible for Inputting data and information into the computer operating system in order to set up system, clear part pallets and edit line counts and address problems.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR.

You will have a keen eye for attention to detail, as you will be completing visual checks of all equipment including photocells, light guards, bar code readers to ensure correct alignment and working.
We are looking for someone who will be able to work well alone, communicate effectively, have good understanding of maths/computer systems (or the ability to pick it up) and to be able to use their own initiative.

WHERE YOU'LL WORK:

Based at our Whittlesey plant, you will be responsible for Setting up the palletising system to run - including pallet dispenser, banders, all roller tracks, all conveyors, and auto-palletiser)
