Description
Our client is a leading player in the Oil & Gas industry, specialising in bulk fuel storage.As an EC&I Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient operation and maintenance of electrical, control, and instrumentation systems within our client's facility, including LV electrical distribution systems, motors, drives, switch gears, and fire alarms.
Provide technical support for day-to-day operations of oil fuel depots.Troubleshoot and resolve electrical control and instrumentation problems.
Complete all assigned tasks safely, to the required quality and timeframes.
Specify and order assigned spares/replacement equipment in line with site quality procedures.
Train and mentor others in maintenance or operations, including apprentices.
Be willing to undertake further training and formal qualifications as and when required by the business.
Qualified in a relevant Engineering Craft/ Technician discipline and completed a Modern-Day Craft Apprenticeship or be assessed as competent with relevant experience.
Previous experience of DCS systems, communication data highways, variable speed drives, and instrumentation (pressure, flow, temperature, density, level, control valves, etc.)Please note you must be willing to undertake short-notice overtime and respond immediately to equipment breakdowns.
