    Second Line Support Engineer

    Full-time position based in Towcester office.

    Work hours: 37.5 hours per week within 8am-6pm - Sat on-call rotation 8am-1pm

    Salary: £27k-£33k depending on experience, plus bonus program

    Our client offers Connectivity as a Service (CaaS) solutions to UK businesses, covering IT, Connectivity, Telephony & Mobile.

    We are seeking a skilled Second Line Support Engineer with over 3 years' experience in an MSP and IT support role. Proficiency in Active Directory, workstation and server setup/support is a must. Familiarity with internet router configuration, soft PBX admin, and mobile device management tools is also crucial. The ideal candidate will be open to continuous learning to obtain certifications and take advantage of incentives.

    Responsibilities

    • Deliver top-notch help desk support to users.
    • Diagnose and resolve support requests:
    • IT – resolve workstation, server, network, and data storage issues.
    • Connectivity – optimize network and router performance.
    • Telephony – configure and maintain soft PBX.
    • Mobile – manage wholesale portal and mobile devices.
    • Monitor RMM dashboard for alerts and take necessary actions.
    • Address escalated and complex issues.
    • Repair hardware faults and upgrade client systems.
    • Identify service quality trends and address them.

    Qualifications

    · Minimum 3 years' IT support experience – mandatory

    · Microsoft 365 Fundamentals (MS-900) – preferred

    · Microsoft 365 Identity and Services (MS-100) – preferred

    · Microsoft 365 Mobility and Security (MS-101) – preferred

    · Managing Microsoft Teams – preferred

    · Team player with a positive attitude – essential
