    About the job you're considering

    Working as part of the Business Solutions and Engagement Management Services team, within the delivery unit Business and Technology Solutions (BTS), successful candidates will be leading the delivery of transformation projects of varying size and degrees of complexity. Our projects have a significant organisational change management component that needs to be led too. Members of the team can also be called on to undertake project audits and/or assurance reviews, PM consultancy and provide client mentoring and guidance.

    Hybrid working: The places that you work from day to day will vary according to your role, your needs, and those of the business; it will be a blend of Company offices, client sites, and your home; noting that you will be unable to work at home 100% of the time.

  • A chance to be responsible for all aspects of project management; accountable for project delivery to agreed cost and time parameters.

    Your skills and experience

    We are looking for the highest calibre individuals who exhibit the following attributes, experience and skills that enable them to deliver rapid value to our clients:

  • Experience of leading delivery within a client facing customer-supplier commercial environment as a supplier
  • Exemplar project management and engagement skills with strong previous experience evident
  • Experience of large-scale IT delivery projects
  • Proven experience of managing projects in the range 1,500 to 10,000 man-days and £2m to £8m direct delivery budget responsibility
  • Innovation in both sales and delivery
  • Proven ability to shape propositions and projects that deliver effective business outcomes for clients whilst managing internal commercial and delivery risk
  • Excellent people management and leadership experience, with a proven ability to motivate and lead multi-disciplined teams
  • Demonstrable skills in facilitation, stakeholder engagement, strategic thinking and presentation
  • Your security clearance

    To be successfully appointed to this role, it is a requirement to obtain Security Check (SC) clearance.
    To obtain SC clearance, the successful applicant must have resided continuously within the United Kingdom for the last 5 years, along with other criteria and requirements.
    Throughout the recruitment process, you will be asked questions about your security clearance eligibility such as, but not limited to, country of residence and nationality.
    Some posts are restricted to sole UK Nationals for security reasons; therefore, you may be asked about your citizenship in the application process.
