Full time - Monday to Friday hours a week

Salary:
£35,000 to £40,000 p.a


My client is a local charity with a mission to deliver the best patient-centred end-of-life care in homes of North Northumberland.

Due to company expansion, I am seeking an experienced finance professional, who will be part of the Senior Leadership Teamheading up a small team of skilled professionals who will be responsible for the provision of the finance support services to the charity, including facilities, IT, insurance and provide financial advice to the Board to ensure future developments are sustainable.

Part-qualified applicants will be considered for this role but must have 3+ years' experience of Management Accounting.

This post can be based at either the Alnwick or Berwick centres.


Key responsibilities will include:

  • Providing support to the senior leadership team
  • To be responsible for the provision of financial services across many provisions
  • Provide financial advice to the Board.
  • Support and head up a small team of skilled professionals.
  • Lead financial meetings
  • Complete financial accounting and forecasting
  • Deliver reports and metrics to leadership

Key qualities & experience required include:

  • Enjoy working as part of a small but highly effective Team


  • Fully qualified

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Finance or related field or will consider part qualified but must have 3+ years' experience in Management Accounting.
  • Confident IT skills, comfortable using Microsoft packages and the ability to learn inhouse systems/databases
  • Ability to multitask, prioritise and manage time effectively to ensure deadlines are achieved
  • Always demonstrate a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Detailoriented and analytical
