The Company:


A successful, forward thinking Manufacturing company based in Northumberland are looking to recruit a Warehouse Supervisor to manage a team of up to 30 staff.

The Role
To manage a team of up to 30 staff members, overseeing the day-to-day Warehouse operations.

You will be responsible for continuous improvement activities and will be expected to bring new ideas to the table on how to improve things like warehouse layout and processes.

There will also be some project work to get involved with.


Skills & experience

  • Manufacturing background, ideally Automotive, Medical, Pharmaceutical, or similar.
  • Experience of logistics and dealing with 3rd party logistics transport companies.
  • Export shipping experience.
  • Microsoft packages including report writing and formulas.
  • SAP R/3 level of experience preferred.
  • Experience of stock control systems, planning and materials control.
  • Exposure to 6s, Kaizen and continuous Improvement philosophies.
  • Proven experience in system improvements and projects.
