WHAT TO EXPECT


You'll be joining a highly passionate, fast paced and forward-thinking early careers recruitment team who are responsible for the hiring of JLR's Apprentices, Graduates and Undergraduates.


KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES


This role will support the planning, development, management and delivery of Early Careers Recruitment events activity working alongside a diverse range of stakeholders including external partners, training providers, universities, schools and colleges and internal colleagues.


The focus will be on supporting the creation of events from brief to execution while ensuring exceptional standards of professionalism are maintained as a representative of JLR and supporting to drive the team's ambition to be an employer of choice.


Other responsibilities include:

  • Work with colleagues to brief relevant agencies and suppliers regarding event concept
  • Assist in the development on an event calendar
  • Support the arrangement and delivery of post offer engagement events across our early careers programme offering.
  • Manage financial tracker and payments for events.
  • Manage the Early Careers ambassadors and other stakeholders with interest in Early Careers
  • Management of the "Early Careers" and "Educate" inboxes to deal with incoming queries

WHAT YOU'LL NEED

  • Experience of events coordination and operational experience.
  • Strong Excel and PowerPoint capability
  • Strong influencing, engagement and stakeholder management skills
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to project manage and coordinate multiple events/activities
  • Experience of working under pressure and delivering results to tight deadlines. Strong planning and time management skills to support this are essential.
