    Job Title:
    Software Test EngineernDivision/Department/Team: Support/QAnSalary: Up to £35,000 - £38,000


    Job & Department SummarynAs a software test engineer, you'll be involved in the quality assurance stage of software development and deployment.

    You'll conduct automated and manual tests to ensure the software created by developers is fit for purpose, and any bugs or issues are removed within a product before it gets deployed to everyday usersnDelivering in a fast-paced environment and performing tasks alone or as a part of a team ensuring a positive customer experience at all timesnEach member of the team is an ambassador for the company, and we strive to offer the highest levels of customer service at all times.

    Essential Functionsnusers' stories and/or use cases/requirements for validity and feasibilitynclosely with other team members and departmentsnand design testing plans/procedures to evaluate the performance of the softwarensoftware testing programs that automate testing processesnthe software testing procedures to evaluate the softwarenmanual testing where automation is not available or feasiblenall testing proceduresnbugs and making recommendations to improve the software productnsoftware after bugs are fixed to ensure the program works properlynall levels of testing (System, Integration, and Regression)nlog and track software defects and inconsistenciesnquality engineering principles throughout the Agile product lifecyclensupport and user documentation, including release notesnwith the creation of knowledgebase documentationnin a timely fashion to deadlines and expectations as set by manager and schedulenother duties as assigned by immediate manager or management team


    Key Performance Outcomesnresponsibility for own learning & development, managing time appropriately to build knowledge of product and use, requesting any training requirements.

    ninternal and customer service levelsnwork collaboratively within the Team by supporting colleagues giving advice and assistance where sought, and communicating in an effective manner

    Required Skills & ExperiencenMinimum GCSE English and Mathematics grade C or equivalent. A Level or equivalent in IT or able to demonstrate competent working knowledge/experience working with computer systems, operating environments/Microsoft Applications

    Experience : 2 years minimum as a Software Test Engineer or a similar role.

    Desirable if you have worked with the following:
    Selenium, Playwright, Browserstack or other browser automation tools and Azure Devopsn/ Functional Skills :nAbility to demonstrate a high level of problem-solving capabilities and attention to detailnMulti-tasking capabilities and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment

    Ability and desire to expand knowledge with changing marketplace and technologynExperience in data analysisnSense of ownership and pride in your performance and its impact on the company's successnGreat interpersonal and communication skillsnStrong written and verbal communication skills
