    Role and Responsibilities:
    Computer Science Teacher - Birmingham Area


    As a Computer Science Teacher your primary focus will be on providing high-quality instruction in computer science, fostering a passion for technology, and preparing students for future success in this rapidly evolving field.

    Below are detailed role and responsibilities associated with this position:

    Curriculum Development:


    Develop and deliver engaging and challenging Computer Science lessons aligned with the national curriculum.
    Stay informed about advancements in technology and update the curriculum to reflect industry trends

    2 Classroom Management:
    Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages active participation and collaboration.
    Implement effective behaviour management strategies to maintain a conducive learning atmosphere

    3 Instructional Delivery:
    Utilise a variety of teaching methods and resources to cater to diverse learning styles.
    Incorporate real-world examples and practical applications to enhance students' understanding of computer science concepts

    4 Assessment and Feedback:
    Design and administer assessments to evaluate students' progress and understanding.
    Provide timely and constructive feedback to guide students' learning and development

    5 Differentiated Instruction:
    Adapt teaching strategies to meet the individual needs of students, including those with varying abilities and learning styles.
    Foster an environment that encourages critical thinking and problem-solving skills

    6 Collaboration:
    Work collaboratively with colleagues to share best practices and contribute to the overall development of the computer science curriculum.

    10 Administrative Tasks:
    Complete required administrative tasks, such as maintaining accurate records of student progress and attendance.
    Ensure compliance with school policies and procedures.
