SEN Teaching Assistant - Blackpool

Start Date: Flexible - Work around your availability

Hours: 32.5 hours per week (full-time)

Spencer Clarke Group are looking for a caring and enthusiastic SEN Teaching Assistant to join a friendly school in Blackpool.

About the Role:

In this rewarding role, you'll provide 1:1 support to a child with autism.
You'll work closely with the teacher to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
Your day-to-day tasks will involve:
- Implementing specialist programmes tailored to the child's needs.
- Encouraging positive learning behaviours.
- Building a strong rapport and fostering the child's social and emotional development.

You'll be a great fit if you:

Have experience working with children, ideally in a similar role.
Are passionate about supporting children with additional needs.
Have excellent communication, patience, and interpersonal skills.
Can be flexible, adaptable, and organised.

A specific teaching qualification is not required, but some experience in a similar role is essential.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.

Spencer Clarke Group work with a variety of schools covering a wide geographical area. We deal with teaching placements at Primary, Secondary, Special Education needs and college level as well as support staff positions also within these.
