We have a fantastic opportunity for a
Laboratory Administrator to join our current admin team for our
Physical Properties Testing laboratory.

ACS provide independent professional materials testing and consultancy services, predominantly to the construction, waste and civil engineering industries.

Our seamless all-in-one service includes physical and chemical laboratory testing, site investigation and testing, and geoscience and materials management consultancy.

Since its founding in 1987, ACS steadily expanded and developed, now offering a comprehensive range of UKAS accredited sampling, site testing and laboratory testing service on a wide range of materials.

What will your responsibilities be?

Ensure day to day sample registration and related activities are completed to the appropriate standard
Monitor ongoing jobs as they progress through the laboratory and ensure results are completed in a timely manner
Report test results to clients
Act as a first port of call for clients and respond to their enquiries
Carry out general office and admin duties as directed by the Technical Supervisors
Support the Laboratory Manager and Technical Supervisor / Team Leader

Skills and Requirements

Good IT skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office
Good organisational, time keeping and communication skills
Previous experience in a similar administrative role

- _Knowledge of a Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS) is advantageous but not essential _

Job Types:
Full-time, Permanent

Salary:
£22,500.00-£24,000.00 per year
