- Providing the initial point of contact for client calls to our IT helpdesk
- Triage of client incidents to decide appropriate escalation methods
- Basic windows or mac troubleshooting
- Providing changes to Microsoft 365 such as client name / job title changes
- Preparation of new devices (e.g. laptops) for clients
- Occasional site visits including PC / monitor moves in client offices (expenses paid)
- Excellent and friendly telephone manner
- Some knowledge of either Microsoft windows or Apple MacOS
- Desire to learn and willing to study for a career in IT
- Any knowledge of Microsoft 365 or general IT networks
- Any IT certification
- 3 GCSE's (or equivalent) at grades 4+ (A-C) in any subject
- GCSE Maths and English (or equivalents) at grades 3+ (D or above)
- Prospective apprentices must not hold an existing qualification at the same or higher level as this apprenticeship is in a similar subject
- Work from home minimum of 3 days per week
- 25 days annual leave + UK Bank holidays

Overview: We are looking for an apprentice to join us as a Junior Helpdesk engineer in a role providing great opportunity to begin a career in the IT sector.
Our previous apprentice has been promoted within the company after completing their apprenticeship, allowing this opportunity for our future apprentice to complete the Azure / Microsoft 365 apprenticeship while working in a fast paced helpdesk environment.
The apprentice will be permitted to work remotely 3 days per week, with up to 2 days per week at our Wickford office.
