Hedging Analyst (Energy / Utilities)

Location:
Remote/Leeds


Salary:
£25k - £30k

Summary:

Key responsibilities:


  • Forward hedging of customer sales to be completed as detailed in the Hedging Strategy
  • Management of gas and electricity defaultday processes
  • Management of gas and electricity Sell-Back processes
  • Production of daily forward curves and maintenance of forward curve pricing models
  • Develop and maintain working relationships with customer contacts and Third-Party Intermediaries (TPI?s) trading on behalf of flexible customers

Skills and experience required:


  • Knowledge of hedging and deal capture processes and policies useful
  • Knowledge of Retail product
  • Highly numerate
  • Microsoft Office proficient
  • Able to work with internal and external parties to deliver effective solutions
  • Able to demonstrate a practical approach to problemsolving
