    This Sussex-based team's looking for someone with a legal background in insurance-related matters to flex their legal prowess and embrace the fast-paced dynamism of working in-house.

    Are you a solicitor with experience in the insurance sector looking for a change of pace? Perhaps you're already working in-house, but you've hit a wall and feel like branching out to something more engaging.

    This Insurance Specialist Legal Counsel role will enable you to utilise your experience in a new and progressive context.
    Our client is a market-leading company with offices in Haywards Heath, Manchester, and abroad.

    As a Specialist Insurance Legal Counsel, you will support their Head of Legal by dealing with all aspects of insurance distribution advice, demonstrating your project management skills, and advising various stakeholders in the business.

    This Specialist Insurance Legal Counsel role will include:

    Reviewing, negotiating, and drafting all manner of agreements and policies, including advising on delegated insurance arrangements, distribution deals, and complex claims queriesDealing with sporadic queries from across the business, including key stakeholders such as the Underwriting, Finance, Tax, and Claims teamsIdeally, you will have:At least 5 years of post-qualification experienceA strong background in insurance distribution, with specific expertise in the contexts of both broker and insurerA desire to work in a fast-paced, dynamic teamStrong communication skills and the ability to advocate across all levels of the organisationFamiliarity working with a regulated market would be advantageous.
