Position:
Health & Safety Advisor

Due to significant growth and contract wins, OCU Services, (part of the wider OCU Group) has a new opportunity for an experienced H&S Advisor to join our wider HSE Team.

The purpose of the role is to provide Health, Safety & Environmental information, advice, and training to all levels and departments within the OCU Business.

Provide specialist advice on the company's safety policy and procedures and compliance with statutory obligations throughout the company.
# Monitor arrangements to ensure that health and safety standards applied by contractors are satisfactory and in accordance with contractual arrangements, company specifications, policy and procedures.
# Ensure that site employees work in accordance with the company's health and safety requirements, policies, and procedures along with those of its Clients.
# Recommend disciplinary procedures where any member of site supervisory staff fails to discharge their safety responsibilities satisfactorily.
# Take appropriate action when notified of disregard of safety on site.
# Monitor provision and effectiveness of adequate and existing welfare facilities.
# Competent in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint & Teams
Report Writing (including incident investigation, Robust RCA)
NCRQ level 6 / NVQ level 6 / NEBOSH diploma
EUSR or CSCS in General Health and Safety
